For the seventh consecutive year, ReidGoodwin participated in Richmond Animal League’s (RAL) Woofstock and Strut Your Mutt. In the month leading up to the event, staff members were able to raise $2,865.00 and snagged the 2nd place for team fundraising. Money raised will be put towards microchips, spay and neuter surgeries, cleaning supplies, medication, testing, vaccines, and food. The funds will also assist with animal transportation.
The Richmond Animal League is a no-kill shelter founded in 1979. They assist with helping find homes for dogs and cats. In 2009, they opened The Loving Spay & Neuter Clinic, as they saw the need for a low-cost clinic on the Southside. If a pet owner meets the low-income guidelines, their animals are eligible for free spay and neuter services. Each year the RAL hosts the Woofstock and Strut Your Mutt to help fund these activities.
Due to COVID-19, RAL’S 13th annual Woofstock Festival has been rescheduled to Saturday, October 17, 2020 from 10am-2:00pm at Westchester Commons. Join your RVA neighbors and friends at the ‘Strut Your Mutt’ fundraising dog walk!
