As students and parents settle into the new school year, ReidGoodwin is happy to announce our continued support of our community with another year of the monthly “ReidGoodwin’s Reading Corner” grant!
ReidGoodwin, headquartered in Richmond, has a history of community engagement – partnering with the likes of Richmond Animal League (RAL), FeedMore, JDRF, The Giving Heart, Ronald McDonald House, Safe Harbor, Angel Tree, and more. Now, more than ever, our communities need responsible corporate citizens to give back.
ReidGoodwin Reading Corner focuses on the immediate needs of the libraries in our neighborhood schools from elementary to high school. We’ve been proud to support programs to expand biography sections, purchase ESL title books, augment technology programs, and help with “birthday books” to name a few of the past projects supported. ReidGoodwin can’t wait to see what we get to help with this 2019-2020 school season.
For the month of September, ReidGoodwin will again be awarding another $500.00 to a Richmond Public School library to be used towards any project or need, such as purchasing new books or new supplies. If your library or school has a specific need please submit a short proposal by Thursday, September 26th.
Richmond schools or libraries who are interested in the award should submit a brief statement to include a short description of how the money will be used. Schools and libraries are encouraged to submit proposals, even if they have submitted previously or have been awarded a grant in the past. Proposals should be sent- Attn: Front Desk at receptionist@reidgoodwin.com.
