ReidGoodwin was honored to participate in The Virginia Trial Lawyers Association’s annual Paralegal Retreat. This year’s focus was on workers’ compensation claims. The event was held on April 29th and 30th and the Wintergreen Resort outside of Charlottesville Virginia. On Friday, Brody Reid and Senior Paralegal Jamie Hoover gave an insightful presentation on a new program offered by the Workers’ Compensation Commission for faster authorizations and usage of the Commission’s online system, known as “Webfile.” On Saturday morning, Brad Goodwin gave a presentation discussing the role of Virginia Retirement System benefits and Line of Duty Act benefits in workers’ compensation claims.
