Congratulations to Martin Luther King Jr. Middle School, ReidGoodwin’s Reading Corner November Grant Recipients!
For the month of November, the law firm of ReidGoodwin, PLC awarded Martin Luther King Jr. Middle School the $500.00 Reading Corner Grant! The ReidGoodwin Reading Corner Grant will be used towards the purchase of additional biography titles for their library. ReidGoodwin is excited to invest in MLK Middle School’s library and students by helping to grow their selection of biographies for their library book clubs and library cart.
ReidGoodwin, headquartered in Richmond, has a history of community engagement – partnering with the likes of Richmond Animal League (RAL), FeedMore, JDRF, The Giving Heart, Ronald McDonald House, Safe Harbor, Angel Tree, and more. Now, more than ever, our communities need responsible corporate citizens that give back to their community. “ReidGoodwin’s Reading Corner” is a natural extension to give back to the children in our community and support the educators and libraries in Richmond’s public schools.
For the month of December, ReidGoodwin will be awarding another $500.00 to a school to be used towards any project or need, such as purchasing new books for the library or new supplies. If your library or school has a specific need please submit a short proposal by Friday, December 21st, 2018.
Interested schools or libraries in the award should submit a brief statement to include a short description of how the money will be used. Proposals can be sent to Gabby Cook at receptionist@reidgoodwin.com.
