Congratulations to J.L. Francis Elementary, ReidGoodwin’s Reading Corner August Grant Recipients!
We are pleased to announce that the ReidGoodwin Reading Corner Grant for the month of August has been awarded to J.L. Francis Elementary School! J.L Francis Elementary plans to use this grant towards the purchase of chapter books to grow their selection of titles for their 3rd-5th graders! We are excited to invest in your library and students by helping to grow your selection of books. Again, Congratulations to J.L. Francis Elementary!
ReidGoodwin, headquartered in Richmond, has a history of community engagement – partnering with the likes of Richmond Animal League (RAL), FeedMore, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), Ronald McDonald House, Safe Harbor, Angel Tree, and more. Now, more than ever, our communities need responsible corporate citizens that give back to their community. “ReidGoodwin’s Reading Corner” is a natural extension to give back to the children in our community and support the educators and libraries in Richmond’s public schools.
For the month of September, ReidGoodwin will be awarding another $500.00 to a school to be used towards any project or need, such as purchasing new books for the library or new supplies. Schools or libraries interested in the award should submit a brief statement to include a description of how the grant will be used. Proposals can be sent to Gabby Cook at receptionist@reidgoodwin.com. The deadline for September submissions is Sunday, September 30th. We look forward to reading your responses!
