October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, a worldwide campaign that increases awareness and prevention of a disease that kills nearly over 42,000 women a year in the United States. ReidGoodwin will be joining this cause, once again, by holding our annual office wide fundraiser. For the month of October, RG team members “earn” their casual Fridays through donations to the cause. RG will match up to 5 times staff donations. All proceeds will be donated to the Virginia Breast Cancer Foundation, Pink Ink Fund, CureSearch for Children’s Cancer and the VCU Massey Cancer Center.
The Virginia Breast Cancer Foundation is a statewide group in Virginia devoted to the eradication of breast cancer through education and advocacy. They provide tens of thousands of Virginians with up-to date and accurate information on breast cancer early detection, diagnosis, treatment, research, and legislation. To learn more, click here.
Pink Ink Fund is a non-profit organization in the Richmond Area that seeks to aid people needing assistance with their post mastectomy tattoo needs as part of their Breast Reconstruction due to Breast Cancer and/or BRCA diagnosis. To learn more, click here.
CureSearch for Children’s Cancer is a national nonprofit organization based in Bethesda, Maryland. The organization works to end childhood cancer by driving targeted and innovative research with real patient impact. To learn more, click here.
