ReidGoodwin Reads to Students on Dr. Seuss Day
On Friday, March 2nd, staff members from ReidGoodwin volunteered at elementary schools in the Richmond area on behalf of RG’s Reading Corner Program. Volunteers were able to choose a Dr. Seuss book and read it to classes at Fairfield Court, Broad Rock, G.H. Reid, J.E.B. Stuart, Blackwell, and M.J. Jones Elementary Schools.
This event kickstarted ReidGoodwin’s new community outreach program, ReidGoodwin’s Reading Corner. ReidGoodwin started this program with the mission to give back to Richmond Public Schools. These schools play a vital role in our families and community and ReidGoodwin wants to support them in any way possible. On February 28th, ReidGoodwin also announced a monetary award for the month of March. Schools will be able to submit a proposal and ReidGoodwin will award $500.00 for a project or need.
We look forward to more opportunities to give back and connect with our community. For more information on ReidGoodwin’s Reading Corner and how to get involved, click here!
