The law firm of ReidGoodwin, PLC has awarded the $500.00 June Reading Corner Grant to Thomas H. Henderson Middle School to be used towards purchasing new titles for their Book Discussion Club. We are excited to see the impact that these books will have on the students at Henderson Middle School.
ReidGoodwin, headquartered in Richmond, has a history of community engagement – partnering with the likes of Richmond Animal League (RAL), FeedMore, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), Ronald McDonald House, Safe Harbor, Angel Tree, and more. Now, more than ever, our communities need responsible corporate citizens that give back to their community. “ReidGoodwin’s Reading Corner” is a natural extension to give back to the children in our community and support the educators and libraries in Richmond’s public schools.
ATTENTION: The deadline to submit proposals for the month of July has been extended to July 31st, 2018.
ReidGoodwin will be awarding another $500.00 to a school to be used towards any project or need, such as purchasing new books for the library or new supplies. If your library or school has a specific need please submit a short proposal by 5 PM on July 31st.
Interested schools or libraries in the award should submit a brief statement to include a short description of how the money will be used. Proposals can be sent to Gabby Cook at receptionist@reidgoodwin.com. A school will be selected on August 1st, 2018.
