ReidGoodwin was happy to participate in the Richmond Animal League’ s 2016 Woofstock Festival and fundraiser. RAL is the area’s oldest non-profit “no-kill” organization committed to reducing the homeless pet population in the Richmond area. Founded in 1979, RAL provides temporary housing, medical treatment, sterilization, and quality care to over 1,700 companion animals each year until they are adopted into permanent and loving homes.
Every year RAL hosts a family-friendly dog festival with music, adoptions, games, and fun. There is a dog parade known as “Strut Your Mutt” where proud dogs and owners strut their stuff. The ReidGoodwin Rovers has participated in this fundraiser for years. This year we raised $5,329.92!!! The ReidGoodwin Rovers took third place in overall fundraising. Fantastic job, everyone! We are gad we can help the homeless pet population right here in our community.
