For the month of April, the law firm of ReidGoodwin, PLC awarded its $500.00 Reading Corner Grant to Miles Jones Elementary School! Miles Jones Elementary will be using the grant towards enhancing their library displays to allow children to explore a variety of topics and books to help develop themselves into well-rounded readers. ReidGoodwin is proud to invest in Miles Jones Elementary School and their commitment to encourage students to explore new ideas.
ReidGoodwin, headquartered in Richmond, has a history of community engagement – partnering with the likes of Richmond Animal League (RAL), FeedMore, JDRF, The Giving Heart, Ronald McDonald House, Safe Harbor, Angel Tree, and more. Now, more than ever, our communities need responsible corporate citizens that give back to their community. “ReidGoodwin’s Reading Corner” is a natural extension to give back to the children in our community and support the educators and libraries in Richmond’s public schools.
For the month of May, ReidGoodwin will be awarding another $500.00 to a school to be used towards any project or need, such as purchasing new books for the library or new supplies. If your library or school has a specific need please submit a short proposal by Wednesday May 29th, 2019.
Interested schools or libraries in the award should submit a brief statement to include a short description of how the money will be used. Proposals can be sent to ReidGoodwin at receptionist@reidgoodwin.com.
