For the month of February, the law firm of ReidGoodwin, PLC awarded two $500.00 Reading Corner Grants! We were proud to present the grants this week to Armstrong High School where they will be presenting a “Book Tasting” to their students to encourage them to read and expand their reading tastes. A grant was also presented to E. D. Redd Elementary where purchasing bi-lingual books to support their growing multicultural student population. ReidGoodwin is proud to invest in these schools and their commitment to provide reading opportunities for their students.
ReidGoodwin, headquartered in Richmond, has a history of community engagement – partnering with the likes of Richmond Animal League (RAL), FeedMore, JDRF, The Giving Heart, Ronald McDonald House, Safe Harbor, Angel Tree, and more. Now, more than ever, our communities need responsible corporate citizens that give back to their community. “ReidGoodwin’s Reading Corner” is a natural extension to give back to the children in our community and support the educators and libraries in Richmond’s public schools.
For the month of March, ReidGoodwin will be awarding another $500.00 to a school to be used towards any project or need, such as purchasing new books for the library or new supplies. If your library or school has a specific need please submit a short proposal by Friday, March 22, 2019.
Interested schools or libraries in the award should submit a brief statement to include a short description of how the money will be used. Proposals can be sent to ReidGoodwin at receptionist@reidgoodwin.com.
