Expert Witnesses and Direct Examination Panel Held by Brody Reid
Brody Reid of ReidGoodwin Co-Chaired VTLA’s October Evidence Seminar this year. The seminar, focused on evidence for trial, is presented in four locations – Richmond, Roanoke, Fairfax, and Virginia Beach.
VTLA is a voluntary based bar association that was founded in 1959 in Virginia. They work to educate about the importance of the jury and the trial lawyer. There are 2,000 members who represent clients all over Virginia and each year, they host a number of educational events, such as conferences and seminars.
Yesterday, Brody gave a lecture at the Richmond location titled “Expert Witnesses – Direct Examination: Qualification, Foundation, Opinion, Exhibits, and Shielding from Cross Exam.” He offered tips and discussion after a video presentation which featured the direct and cross examinations of an orthopedic surgeon.
