For the month of January, the law firm of ReidGoodwin, PLC awarded Linwood Holton Elementary the $500.00 Reading Corner Grant! The grant will be used towards purchasing items such as Legos, Keva Planks and Ozobots to create a Makerspace. Makerspace activities provide hands-on learning, help with critical thinking skills and boost self-confidence. ReidGoodwin is excited to invest in Linwood Holton Elementary and students by helping to create a space that fuels engagement and creativity!
ReidGoodwin, headquartered in Richmond, has a history of community engagement – partnering with the likes of Richmond Animal League (RAL), FeedMore, JDRF, The Giving Heart, Ronald McDonald House, Safe Harbor, Angel Tree, and more. Now, more than ever, our communities need responsible corporate citizens that give back to their community. “ReidGoodwin’s Reading Corner” is a natural extension to give back to the children in our community and support the educators and libraries in Richmond’s public schools.
For the month of February, ReidGoodwin will be awarding another $500.00 to a school to be used towards any project or need, such as purchasing new books for the library or new supplies. If your library or school has a specific need please submit a short proposal by February 24, 2020.
Interested schools or libraries should submit a brief statement to include a short description of how the money will be used. Proposals can be sent to receptionist@reidgoodwin.com.
