Brad Goodwin Co-Chairs and Brody Reid Speaks at VTLA Retreat
This past weekend, Brad Goodwin co-chaired the VTLA’s annual Advanced Worker’s Compensation Retreat in Richmond, VA. Panels at the retreat spoke on workers’ compensation topics, such as marketing, effective treatment and pain management amidst the opioid crisis, and protecting your client’s rights in complicated cases. A review of case law and legislation updates that will impact workers’ compensation law was also provided.
ReidGoodwin’s Brody Reid spoke on “Balancing your Workers’ Compensation Case and Your Third-Party Liability Case” discussing when to pursue other potential claims for the client and how best to consider your client’s interests when pursuing multiple claims. Reid previously spoke on a panel at the VTLA Evidence Seminar.
VTLA is a voluntary bar association that was founded in 1959 in Virginia. They work to educate about the importance of the jury and the trial lawyer. There are 2,000 members who represent clients all over Virginia. Each year, they host a number of educational events, such as conferences and seminars.
